03Commissioning & verification

Make it work. Prove it works.

A powered-on system is only the beginning. KENTEQ configures, tests and refines the installation so that the everyday experience matches the design intent.

The right help, at the right stage

Test the experience, as well as the equipment.

Commissioning follows the signal path from source to user and checks the system under realistic operating conditions. That means testing how people start a meeting, change a source, adjust audio and recover from a problem, as well as checking the technical setup.

When to involve KENTEQ

At the end of an installation, before client acceptance, after a major change or when a working system still does not perform as it should.

01

Configuration & DSP setup

Configure agreed devices and audio processing, checking routing, gain structure, microphone behaviour and conferencing audio.

02

Functional system testing

Verify the required inputs, outputs, modes, control actions and room-combining behaviour against the brief.

03

Real-world use checks

Test representative meeting scenarios, camera views, content sharing, volume limits and the user’s route through the controls.

04

Snag resolution & handover

Record findings, resolve items within scope and make outstanding issues and acceptance criteria visible.

A useful outcome

A system with evidence behind it.

Deliverables are agreed against your brief, site conditions and the level of involvement you need.

01

Test results

A record of agreed checks, observed behaviour and the status of any outstanding items.

02

Configuration handover

Agreed backups, settings and version information for the equipment included in the work.

03

An informed acceptance

A clear explanation of what has been verified and any remaining limitations or dependencies.

Before we start

A few practical
questions.

Every engagement starts with a clear scope. These are some of the things we can settle together.

Can you commission an installation you did not build?

Yes. We first establish the intended behaviour and review the design information, access and configuration files available. Any gaps are recorded before the scope is agreed.

Can you fix audio problems during commissioning?

Many problems can be resolved through configuration, routing or processing. If the cause is room acoustics, equipment selection or installation, we explain the finding and the work needed.

Does commissioning include user training?

A practical user handover can be included. More extensive training, support documentation and ongoing support are scoped separately.

A project. A problem. A starting point.

Let’s make it work.

Bring the brief, the challenge or the system you already have. We’ll work out the next sensible step.
